10ltr mini mash recipes

Post by Martin the fish » Fri Jan 11, 2008 8:22 am

I plan on doing my first mini mash(10ltr) tomorrow night and have DaaB's recipe doubled up.

I know i'm going to enjoy this so am wondering if anyone has other easy 10ltr recipe's for me to play with untill i have my complete Eq for AG.

I'm quite limited to what grains and hops i can get though. Standard pale grain, crystal grain, choc and black. Cascade, green bullet, sticklebract, nelson savin and super alpha are easily obtainable for me. Sort of.

I like most ale's and bitters. As our seasons are reversed it's start of summer here so some summer or golden ale's would be welcome :)

I do a few 10 litre brews for bottling, you can convert any recipe by simple maths.
From a 23 litre recipe to 10 litre, divide the ingredient item by 23 and then multiply by 10 (or multiply by 10/23 if it is easier).
A good golden ale is 100% Satisfaction, just pale malt and EKGs. A search in recipes should find it.

Martin

You could double up the Townes IPA recipe that Garth gave me using Pale Malt and cascade Hops.
