Fairly high attenuation so it will leave a dry beer. Adds very little flavour of its own, very clean. Good for hoppy beers, but can be a bit bland in British styles where you want some fruityness. Ferments well, doesnt generate a lot of heat and is a true top-fermenting yeast. Flocculation isn't great, so you'll need to use some finings if you want a polished beer.

Absolutely brilliant for hoppy beers. Neutral flavour that lets the hops shine through.
Ferment at 17-18C.
Has been used for pseudo lagers by fermenting down at 14-15 but the result is not really lager like, more just a clean blonde ale...

Do an APA style with nice late additions of US hops, or indeed any good strong flavoursome hop(s)...
Or a blonde/summer ale with the same thing...

I use dry yeast for most of my brews and always have some of this yeast around for just that purpose.

I've used this once and it resulted in probably the best beer i've made so far :D
clicky
I have it in the fermenter now working on Hookey Street so fingers crossed.
It did take quite a while to clear but was worth it in the end

Also the sediment in bottles will swirl up at the slightest movement. Last batch I bottled with 5g of dissolved gelatin in with the priming solution and the sediment is now firmly stuck to the bottom.

I have used it recently on a few brews and as everyone says its ideal for hoppy ale styles.

It does make the beer come alive a bit compared to S04, but each has its own place in two different styles.

I did ask him if he was going to stock it, so make sure you all buy plenty!
My stocks from him are already getting low.
