It's cleared in the bottles and is superbly clear. More than any of my kits. It also has v little sediment in the bottom now. How long do i condition AG for? Longer than kits? I'm gagging to try one but i'm not opening any of these till they will be good. :D Bottled it on 2/2/08
Luckily i have bottled kit beers that are drinkable now so i can keep my mind of it a little.

Can't wait to try my first AG...

Conventional wisdom is 1 week for each 10 points of OG

I sampled one of my first batch after 2 weeks and although the bitterness hadn't settled down it was damn tasty, so much so that it spurred me on to do another mini-mash the following day!

I always start drinking my kits too early so i'm determined to leave my AG till it's ready. 4 weeks should do the trick.

Thanks Martin for the enjoyable sequence of photos. I'm sure AG no 1 will taste great. If you bottled on 2/2/08 then the four week maturation period is up this week-end. Have you had a sneaky taster already?

Admirable resolve :!: I guess we'll get a picture of AG1 in the glass, along with tasting notes. Look forward to it

I poured this into a jug. It's very hazy-3 weeks in the fridge hasn't helped at all really. It goes clear again once it gets a bit warmer. Nice head...
