This event will take place at The Waterfall, Derby on Saturday 5th April.
Why not try entering one or more of your beers; the 1st prize is a chance to brew a batch of your own beer on the pilot plant at Roosters Brewery.

is this a good thing for people who want to get into AG or is it just for people already doing it?

The majority of brews will be AG and since you get to drink'em after judging, you can sample the quality
you can make. You can also speak to brewers about questions you have. I felt nervous to do this at first, but really I think something craft brewers like to do is talk endlessly about brewing - I do. Even if you only go for a beery afternoon, I don't think you'll be dissappointed. Lots of tasty beers

I'm also hoping to get my 6 bottles there for the first time.

If it wasn't a very long plane flight i'd love to come, these events sound excellent.
