22/2 Odds & Suds IPA

Using up my Target Hops and doing an IPA as I promised myself ..... Here's my latest 20 Litre concuction currently bubbling away in the boiler!

4000 Pale Malt
200g Crystal

41g Target Hops (90) 10%aa
20g Golding (10) 5.1aa
6g Hallertau (5) 3.8aa

OG1.050
Nottingham Yeast

:shock: Jeez are those figures in brackets IBUs? I thought I was mad hopping something to 54 IBU's.

Hopefully you'll be rewarded for your patience with a wonderfully complex hoppy brew.

Actually it depends on how it comes out. I have got my experiments out the way now & If this isn't my final brew day this 'season' (and there's no reason it should be) then instead of 'inventing' new recipes, I am going back to brewing some favorite tipples from either BYORAAH or tried & tested recipes from this years diary notes (i.e TEA and my American Pale ale are both worth repeating). I am losing inventiveness in favour of re doing the beers that were really great, although I am sure if you were pitting my recipes against medicre keg brews they'd fayre very well.....
