JBK Prizewinning Recipe Sticky

Post by J_P » Fri Feb 22, 2008 2:50 pm

How do folks

I was just wondering if there was room in the recipe section for a JBK members prizewinning recipes "sticky". This would serve as a reference for those new to AG / Extract or those who find themselves deviod of inspiration on brewday.

Given the recent success in competitions of some members and the fact that a large number of folk from the forum will be at the CBA comp in April I doubt there'll be any shortage of prizewinning recipes.

Just a thought

John

Good idea JP, as i'm going AG (hopefully next week, at last) I will be needing some recipes and a sticky of all those which have been tried and tested by at least one other member would be ideal.

We could have a competition for the best of the best....

It would be like home brew Topgun

Good luck with the move to AG, you'll certainly not regret it, it's no where near as complicated as it first seems and the beer is totally worth the extra time taken to make it.

..and any recipe listed should be in a standard format/layout to make it easy for the AG newcomers to understand.

All the various brewing software output in a slightly varying style.
I know the export function from Promash is not ideal.
Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery

Any suggestions there mix? I'm sure between the folks here we should be able to bash some template or other together

Excellent idea. My biggest 'problem' with AG is getting recipe's. :D

Could soemone clarify the volumes quoted in the recipes? In those posted above are the volumes at the start of the recipe as collected after sparging, or the final amount after boiling (is this what is know as brew length)?

Sorry if this is an obvious one but I just wanted to know :?
