Phew, i'm knackered. Tis been a long day.
All went swimmingly. Have lots of pic's but they will have to wait.
Recipe
MO 5222g-it's all i had left from my 25kg sack
Crystal 418g
Choc 30g
Hops boil 90 mins
13g Sticklebract
11g Green Bullet(these are the ones with seeds in

)
Last 15 mins 15g Green Bullet
" " " 10g Goldings
" " " 1 tsp irish moss
Yeast-1968 ESB.
Strike temp was 74C, mashing in my grain(grist?) bought the temp to 67C which suited me enough so i mashed at that. Took a temp reading halfway through and no change so v happy there.
After the sparge, which took 50 mins i'd collected 33 ltr's of wort @ 1052. After 90 min boil i have 28ltr. Which is currently cooling down. I'll take a reading once cooled and add water to bring back to 1052(probably)
My boiler is too small, i only just about managed to squeeze the wort in and boil it by adding the extra 5 ltr's a bit at a time. I'm converting my 75ltr FV into a boiler in the week.
I sneaked in a couple of bottles of AG#1 during the boil. It tastes great, miles better than any kit i've done
BUT it's been in the fridge for 3 weeks and is v cloudy still-this goes after it gets a bit warmer. Also head retention is non-existant. Gets a nice head for about 3 seconds then disappears instantly

I had a sneaky bottle of AG#2 to see if that was the same-it's not. It's absolutely gorgeous with a fantastic head and very very clear. So good in fact that i drunk it before taking a pic

I'm not giving any of this away, it's too good.
