Does anyone know if pint beer bottle crates are still available - and where can you get them from.

Many thanks.

I was always under the impression that they were returnable to the wholesaler supplying the pub. Maybe they are but I guess it depends on which pub you ask at! My local donated me a load of Bulmers cider bottles complete with 4 x Scottish and Newcastle crates that accommodate 12 pint bottles each. Always worth asking the question as I doubt even if they are returnable that they are inventoried for, as they are usually left outside no doubt a few do get nicked.

Thanks for the replies lads. I guess i am just going to ask around and wear that short skirt again. I have thought about using milk bottle crates but they are not deep enough to stack one ontop of each other.

Try your local off licences, that's where I got all mine from. They were happy to let me have them for the deposit money, iirc it was between £1-£1:50 per crate.
