yep, was a definate winner, cheers AT

thanks RTD, how are you finding the Townes? I enjoyed it but the Cascade seemed to disappear from the cornie a bit too quick ...

It's a lovely pint Garth, nearly finished now & I'm sure I'll brew it again (if I can get the hops) but as I mentioned on another thread, after steeping & dry hopping the cascade aroma was minimal to say the least, I'll have to increase both quantities significantly next time.

totaly agree with you there RTD, I steeped quite a bit and it just didn't hang around long enough

I have some Cascade but they're pellets so I'll have to use them in a brew with some flowers as well. Pellets and my system don't like each other at all..

How much does the treacle figure in the final taste?

Wez, haven't even sneaky slurped the Hookey, it's in it's cornie carbed up and ready for something else to run out, looking forward to it,

whose ever recipe it is I can't remember, cheers, was it yours Wez?

DB, the treacle is quite prominent in the final beer, much more than I thought it would be, if you want a bigger treacle taste add another 50g-100g
