I'm looking at replacing the pumps in the Effin brewery, the RG550 will be reduced to Cask Washing duties, the other pump which is almost as powerful as the RG550, is pretty good, as it doesn't cut out pumping hot wort.
I just can't decide on one pump or two. it's more convenient with two but not essential . . . I think its just going to be the one, as I can then buy a lot more of the bits now . . . and add the second pump at a later date.
What are the fittings on the pump . . . just in case I need to order some NPT ones?

Having ordered a March 809 from Morebeer - they're out of stock and will have some in by about mid-May - I finally got an email from March May in the UK.
March May can supply the American March 809-PL-HS pump with 230V motor, polysulphone pump head and 1/2" NPT male connections for £85 plus £12.50 P&P plus VAT, so £114.56 inclusive. In stock today. The pricing is cunningly set to be a nadge less than ordering one from Morebeer in the US, which would be about £121 if you have to pay VAT when the parcel arrives.
NB these pumps don't appear on their website!
I spoke to a very nice salesman called Kevin Partt. March May do not have credit card facilities, so you need to send them a cheque and letter.

I'm now dithering whether to order another pump - since they don't do credit cards I couldn't get one in time for the Easter weekend brewing anyway.
