Yeah no aroma hops. When I've made beer I've often steeped for big hop aroma. Would be interesting to see (or smell) any aroma that this leaves with the brew for a comparison.

I've got 6 corni's. 2 tied up with DP recipes until mid-may probably, 2 tied up with Derby comp entries, one with my 80 shilling which is ready by the 1 week per 10 points of gravity rule though it doesn't taste rounded off yet, and one empty. My fermentation chamber is finally free'd up tonight with Chimaybe in secondary now so thoughts from here for the next few brews are lighter and more summery.

After this quaffer brewed on Monday next, a Dark Star Sunburst type citrussy golden ale, then a Hefe using WB-05 yeast, then more 4.5% bitters 'cos that's what I really enjoy most I think. I want to get less impulsive and extreme, and brew a standard best bitter recipe and vary the hop type a bit. This all started with Briars Best (Challenger hops), my Amarillo Best I reckon is pretty good too which is really the same recipe with Amarillo hops. From there I haven't done a Best with Goldings which are regarded by most as the quintessential english flavour/aroma hop.

Love this brewing malarkey 8) .
