2nd All Grain being done tomorrow

Get advice on making beer from raw ingredients (malt, hops, water and yeast)

well i ended up doing the guines clone but i uped the lenth to 40 ltr its just coming up to the boil now
all i can say is...IM GONA NEED A BIGGER MASH TUN :D
it was filled to the brim :=P

Just out of interest what's the 7-2-1 ratio?

I generally make 3-2-1 bitters which as I understand it are where you use 3 grain 2 hops and 1 yeast but I can't see the same principle being applied to a stout, seven grains :shock:.

well boil over smells fantastic just like guiness to be honest

Looks like the ratio of pale malt : flaked barley : roast barley then

Cheers Rog should've guessed only POP and Mprillla use that many grains in a brew :lol:
