All done and dusted I got OG 1,045 at 18.5L and I also have 15L TC fermenting away. I would have got more but on 2 occasions the taps opened themselves :roll: Yet another triumph for DaaBs batch sparge calc :=P

I will say having the wife doing the duties it has made me think about my setup. Time to be tad less Heath Robinson about it all :=P Though ~I must say not having to do the washing duties after all is done and dusted is great, though I did not let her sanitise, as I know how I need it done, though I really should of let her do it as my wrist is now acheing :roll:

Missed this one yesterday (probably avoiding cascade).

I don't recall who first posted about it Daab, Dave Edge, Aleman . . . but I have had good luck with waiting on an aroma addition until my wort has cooled to 80C. Even a relatively small amount of hops seems to go a long way.
