116 Goldings, copper hops
27g Golding to steep
15L in the FV.
Mashed in at 08.20, unfortunately no pics as digital camera is AWOL

Coincidently the 8 months maturation (once racked off to demi-johns) will make this ready bang on 23rd December; my 40th!

Silly things done so far;
Didnt realise the tap was open on the mash tun whilst transferring grist from mixing bucket to MT! realised after about 1 second, luckily the tap was over the kitchen sink.
Messed up the measurement of the mash liquor a bit, isnt as stiff as I'd like it, may just over 2.5L per kg.
Well lovely day for it as I'm boiling outside. May even spark the bbq up in the afternoon.
