The Pistonbroke Brewery Presents - Golden Pale Ale

Due to the laptop taking an early lunch, here's attempt at writing this no. two.

So, just finished a new recipe for - A Golden Ale.

I've not taken any pics apart from my new shiney (or coppery?) Yup, i've finally coughed up the pennies and got myself an immersion chiller. Cost me just shy of £20 including VAT which is a bit steep but it's 10 metres long and 10 mill wide and it dropped the temp from 80C to 20C in under twenty five mins and that's all I care about - no more waiting 'till the next day!

Anyway, here's the recipe, of course, once ready i'll let you know how it tastes.

3.8kg MO
200g Flaked Barley
200g Crystal 60l
200g TW

80g Fuggles @ 4.5 AA, boiled for 60 mins @ 31.3 ibu
30g Bramling Cross @ 5.30 AA, boiled for 10 mins @ 5.1 ibu
30g Cascade @ 4.8 AA, steeped for 30 mins

1/2 tsp Irish Moss @ 10 mins
IC sterilised @ 10 mins

Cooled to 20C Safale added

Mashed a bit cool @ 66C / 67C
Sparged a bit cool @ 73C

So, that's it. Any questions?

Yeah, went fine, no probs at all. BTW, I wasn't going to add any hops other than the fuggles and bc but thought what the hell, I have a small amount of cascade left and I like the aroma/taste so I popped them in too.
