I'm eternally greatful for the support You guys have given our family at this time.

Thanks for the recipe Garth.

Dad was in the 16 5th Royal Lancers and so as a way of recognising this we've arranged for a horse drawn hearse.

He always said that when He passed away He wanted to be propped up by the bar and for a pint of the black stuff to be poured by the land lady and put on the bar next to him.

He almost has his wish because the horse drawn hearse will be prepared at the rear of the pub before arriving at the house. It will then stop off at his local on the way to the service and a bottle of the black stuff will be collected by my brother before we complete the rest of the procession.

Gotta go cus I'm choking up ....
