Do I come across as competitive?

In a more topic related post, I'm keen to hear if this meets the lagerish qualities your looking for SW. My missus is really a lagery bird. I won't do/try an authentic one 'cos it would tie up the temp controlled fermentor too long, but if you say this is good it'll be my next bird brew probably.

LMFAO @ where I find this thread has ended up since yesterday evening
And there I was, sat on the couch watching MOTD, if only I'd known what was going on here!
How about we start a "Reviews of Members' Homebrew Brewday Pictures" thread?

Nice one SW
Looks like the type of beer I could knock up the next time I get home, as a summer quencher

yes, though not in the smoke at the moment. Glasgow next week(perhaps taking up residency in the Bon accord for 4 days).

Back from hols and in the middle of work hell, time for a bit of beer-related activity to soothe the mind.
Kegged this today after 12 days in the primary, decent malt and hops with a subtle fruityness in the background. The yeast did its job a bit too well and the blighter went down to 1.008 giving 5.5% alcohol. I can think of worse problems to have.
I'll give a full taste report after a few weeks of maturing but I think its going to be spot on once the warmer weather arrives

For some strange reason I have a sneaky feeling you will struggle to keep it in the cornie once its tapped
Thinking about beer and brewing does take the edge off!!
Hope you and your good lady had a good un SW

Work still totally has me as its bitch, there's literally been no time for brewing or forum and that can only be
a bad thing.
Just got time to say I'm enjoying the Schiehallion very much (when I get the rare chance

) and if you're at all golden-ale inclined then its up there with the best of 'em.
I hope the brewing endeavours are going swimmingly for all
