Brewday 26/04/08

Todays brew, based on HH's house bitter:

23l 1.044 SG

MO 3.930 kg
Crystal 0.262 kg
Torrified Wheat 0.174 kg

Challenger 7.3% 31g 90 mins
Goldings 6.1% 20g 15 mins
Goldings 6.1% 8g Steep

Nothing much changed apart from the challenger for bittering, first time I've tried adapting a recipe so hoping all goes well.

Hoping to get brewing mid-afternoon, got my eldest's 5th birthday party to go and police in the meantime, wish me luck!

Everyone seems to be brewing today!

The UK seems to be awash with HH lager and bitter at the moment.

It went really well, unfortunately I have no pics this time around.

I hit 23l @ 1.042, I'm going to have to sit down and work out my efficiency at some point.

I'm really enjoying this AG malarkey, I reckon I'll enjoy it even more in a few weeks time when I finally sup some :)
