Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild

The skies are blue, its Saturday and I'm not brewing!!!!
What to do???!?!?!?!?

A fantastic beer from Brew your own real ale at home.
This is my 7th "bash" at it. Drank it at the Dorking Beer festival in about '94 then found it in the book (Bible) about 5 years ago. So pleased

25 litres
OG 1058
Actual Gravity 1064

Pale Malt 5.000g (75%)
Crystal Malt 1.650g (25%)

Fuggles 41g (Start of boil)
Goldings 35g (Start of boil)
Goldings 20g (Last 15 mins)

Crystal Malt

Mash 2 Hours
Image

Sparge About 50 mins
Image

Hops
Image

Boiling
Image

Cooling
Image

Will be added to collection after fermentaion

Enjoy the photos. I'll update in a few weeks/months when I've finished fermenting and started drinking it :D

How do you connect your beer engine to the KK's? Direct to the flip-tap?

Yes Hamstead Brewing center sell the "Brewgas" system which is the Flip tap with the John Guest Fittings.

I tried this recipe once as I'm a big fan of Sarah Hughes. I found it too treacley though, and recent research I've been doing suggests much less crystal malt should be used:
