Munich Dark Lager
Ta, I'll go with that then, I don't like too much fizz either. In fact I find most bottled ales a bit too fizzy these days, and much prefer the slighlty softer carbonation of my homebrews, which mostly have a nd retain a better head too.Minus The Bear wrote:yep i used 30g, the carbonation using that much is moderate as i don't like it overly fizzy.
Bottled this last night after 12 days in the FV. I think it was finished after about 6 but I didn't have chance till yesterday. It tasted ok, pretty bland at the moment, but no bad tastes. Hopefully the high fermentation temp won't have harmed it, it never seemed to get below 20 C in the garage, until yesterday when it was 15C but too late. fingers crossed.
I know I shouldn't have, but I tried this after it had been bottled a week, it had been clear for a good few days. Hopefully it will improve a lot cos it hardly had any taste or body. In fact it tasted almost exactly like my Hambleton Bards Old English which I bottled probably a year ago and still have about 30 left!
Fingers crossed time again.
