Good work Wez, nice pictures. I've been wondering about getting one of those H & G FV's & making a bigger boiler myself :-k

How's the back this morning :?:

Well done Wez, makes sense doing bigger batches, especially when you know it's a good recipe

only slightly more effort for double the quantity, nice one. :D

I'd reccomend it :D the most I had to lift was 15L as I managed to split run-offs between 3 FV's 8)

I was lucky in that Steve F sorted me out with a 66L tun and a 10 gallon IC - both worked a dream Steve! 8)

I'd say that large batches are definately worth the effort. Seeing your Fv or 2 x FV's full is a lovely sight.
Bottling the lot up is rubbish though. I bottled up a supposedly 40 ltr batch(36) today into 48 x 750ml bottles. Not fun. :( Drinking it will be though.
