This was a fun kit to make.

Boiled the two tins, diluted with around 3-4 ltr of boiled water and added the hops for 10mins, don't want it too bitter.

Re-hydrated the yeast and pitched at the correct temp.

Checked this morning and fermentation has started.

The house was smelling great!

Here's a few images.

This seems to be a popular kit.

How does the Colne Valley Bitter shape up ?

I'm fermenting one right now, smells great. Although the US-05 I used seems to be slightly underachieving a touch.

I cant decide if i should bottle this one?

Using the barrle for the IPA was great and it wasnt a fizzy pint (which is how I like it but still gave a good head).

What do you think?

Just couldn't get it down any further so finished on 1012. Makes it around 3.5% which is fine by me.

Tastes great too.
