Got my fourth beer bottled the other day - the Forest Bitter.
Mostly it went ok, other than a few very annoying overspills. Also tried out using a dishwasher - time will tell on that one.

Anyway, anyone got any experience of the best bit - drinking this brew? I'd love to know what to expect if it has gone well...
Bottled the Sherwood's Forest Bitter
Good read.
Only slight suggestion I might have is given the Linthwaite Light experience (and my Colne Valley Bitter experience) is maybe not to go to all the effort and expense of labelling all the bottles up until you know the beer is worthy of them!
I have some lovely (IMO) labels for my Blencathra Best but I'm not printing them out until I know whether it deserves them!

its a good point, though I guess I hadn't expected to be disappointed with 2 our of my 1st three brews. And at least they LOOK good with labels on whatever they taste like
I just know I wouldn't bother with labels if I put them into my cupboard without labels, and its not a big job really (when I dont try to rush it)
