Townes IPA - Monday 26 May

Post by Wez » Sun May 25, 2008 11:07 am

A bank holiday brew day tomorrow 8) Townes IPA seems popular at the moment so I'm going with this:

STOP PRESS : Just had the green light to brew this today 8)

Brewlength 50L
Target OG 1045 (based on reduced efficiency of 70%)
Target IBU 40
60 min mash 67 degrees
60 min boil
Batch Sparging

10.4kg Marris Otter Pale Malt 96%
430g Torrified Wheat 4%
160g Cascade 5.75%aa (60 min) 40IBU
100g Cascade 5.75%aa (steeped after the boil at 80 degrees for 30 mins)

I'll be splitting the batch into 2x 25L FV's so may pitch s04 into one and us05 into the other :-k
