Caxton Real Ale

Post by Gruesome » Tue Jun 10, 2008 9:25 am

Hello folks, I have just kegged 5 Gallons of Caxton. I'm thinking everything went fine and dandy and I hope my peas don't die because that's where I emptied the sediment from the fermenting bin! I also made some fresh bread to use for sandwiches and I'm off to Abbotsbury to fish for mackerel. Seems like an excellent brew day for me. I might even post a pic later. Have a good day yourself. :=P

Not one! The water is murky and the fish apparently don't like it. I saw one fish caught in the 3 or so hours I was there but still, it was a very pleasant way to spend the day. I'm really glad I kegged that ale though as I don't have to think about it anymore. Should be ready in a couple of weeks

Got one last night...just a tiddler but enough for my buddy to use as bait. They're scarce at the moment
