After a proving run with the Golden Promise based Townes brew on Thursday. I now have a cornie's worth of stout underway.

19ltr
MO 2.9kg
Flaked Barley 830g
Roast Barley 415g

42g Northdown 7.9%AA 40-45IBU

The mashed @ 64deg.

Looks like another good 'un, you've got to have a stout available in your stocks (and I need to do another one :roll: )

I decided vary it a little, I threw in a slack handfull of oats and also put a few Goldings in with the Northdown

No piccies but it started out on Sat evening @ 1.048 and it is now down to 1.022 at a steady 18deg sat on the solid floor in the kitchen.
That there Nottingham yeast is fair munching away at it! :)
