Irish Moss 10g (15 min)
Cascade 20g (10 min) 7%AA
**Cascade 30g (0 min) 7%AA

Primary Fermenter
Safale US-05 (US-56)

Secondary Fermenter
Cascade 15g 7%AA

Mash Time 90 min

I'm not sure you'd get enough liquor in your MT. If your doubling that grain bill your gonna be close to full on the mash i reckon. You'd manage it if you could fly sparge. I do 40 ltr batches in my MT which is 33ltr. I have to do 2 boils as i only have a 25ltr boiler. I just collect all the wort in my 50 ltr FV and any over in a 10ltr FG bucket. I then split it into two and do two boils. I cool the first and put it into my 50ltr FV then boil the second, cool and add to the 50 FV. It makes the brewday a bit longer but i think it's worth the extra time. 8)

What size batch is that recipe for?

The recipe is for 23 litres. I didnt think it would fit but thought it was worth asking. I dont mind just doing 23 litres. I might have to splash out on a Bane Marie soon.

Why not just fly sparge?

Well, several reason, its harder , its more to clean and I don't have the equipment.

I like the simplicity of batch sparging, I will probably go to fly sparging later once I get a good consistency with my brews.

+1
I've done this a few times. Just mind your ph though I've never had an issue.
Even had to do a third run-off a few times but once was for a rye/wheat
MORE RICE HULLS!
