I'm going to barrel my admirals reserve this evening hopefully. Question is what shall i use to prime. I have a choice between brewing sugar, dark DME, or black treacle lol!
Also do i use half a teaspoon per pint for dme or black treacle?
Is it going to make much difference to the quality of taste etc.
Priming Admirals Reserve
Sorry to be a pain, not sure what to do with this. Sit and wait, add some more yeast or barrel it?
My initial OG was 1030 (Although this was when i made the kit, hence the temp would be high hence inaccurate reading), it's at currently 1016 after 10 days
I havn't added anything else. But as things stand it's going to be a weak brew.

Cheers thank you.
I roused it last night. I did give it a good rigerous stir when i made the kit so as to aereate etc. I can't see how it can be that low. Plus it doesn't smell that weak if that possible with your nose!
I think i will barrel it tonite. Do you think Black treacle will be a ok to prime or will it kill the flavour?
