Hi Stubru23, I have done Morgans - Iron bark dark ale, this was very good & I have another in the post. Also I have done the Royal oak amber ale, this to was very good & I have done the Yukon brown smoked ale - this is still ageing in the bottle's but I have tryed 1 or 2 & this also seem's to be good. On the Iron bark dark ale I used brown sugar but on the other kits I used Morgans Master blends & will use one of the Master blends on me next Iron bark dark ale - I think the Morgan's rang are pritty good.
I am also waiting for a Morgans Stockmans draught & Blue mountain larger to come

I've used the Morgan's kits when I was doing K&K, and also used their unhopped extracts when doing extracts + extras.

Their products always seemed of good quality and reliable.

Here's a recipe which is very popular down under. I've brewed it and it comes out a beauty. It's in the style of an APA.

1 tin Morgans Stockmans Draught
1.5 kg of Morgans Extra Pale Malt Extract (Liquid)
15g of Cascade pellets - 15min
10g Cluster pellets - 15 min
US56 Yeast.
12g of Chinook Pellets (dry hopped at rack).

When you were making the Morgans kits did you use the yeast that came with it or did you change it ??

Hi Stubru23, I've never changed the yeast - I only use what comes with the kit's & they have all fermented OK.

I used a liquid yeast, WLP001, i.e. Californian or Chico Ale yeast.
