how long is to long

just had a quick thought whilst sorting out cornie....

the seals smell of syrup so obviously need replacing...but I have had my target brew in a fermenting bin clearing with finings for 5 days (may even be 7).

the problem is i can't get to the shop to get replacement seals till thursday (crossing fingers that he has them)

will the brew be okay to then?

It should be fine. :)
Many of us leave our beer on the yeast for 10 days.

I think BeerBloke once left a beer on the fining lees for about three months . . . the result was not pleasant :out. A couple of weeks should be OK
