Hello all i have used the basic phil mill with a drill fitted for speed for the past 14 years.I get a good crush and great mash effciency.

I probably crush around 300 kg of malt a year and there is still very little ware and tear.

Just keep an eye out for small stones when filling.

And if you can get your malt from a maltsters you will get good quality at less than half the price of any home-brew shop .
