My first kits 13/09/2008

hello all,

Well yesterday was my first brew day,

Done all the cleaning/sterilizing on the first FV then got to work mixing my first lager kit that went fine then did the same with the john bulls cider kit now they are sat there and theres a nice head forming on both so fingers crossed

Going to order a bottling bing with tap this week and a few glass bottles

yep mate clean clean clean dont let any one in the kitchen when im doing it so no 1 can get any of there germs near it lol

Also getting some beer crates for free the end of this week so i will be able to store the bottles out of the way

I've got a couple of milk crates here, they don't stack when full but they do hold twenty pints. :D

The crate i got stack when full so i happy with that :lol:

There's nothing like that first pint of beer you've made yourself! It'll be magic! 8)

Mind you, they don't last long! So, best get some more kits and keep your FVs full! :)
