And it's taken off well this one - only 24 hours later and the krausen has reached the lid of the fermenter - don't think this one needs any help in rousing yet! Smells lovely :D

This is good yeast - even running at 17 degrees it's trying it's best to get out of the FV (been through the airlock and the probe gland in the lid..)

I need to make myself a blow-off tube :roll:

Just trying the first bottle of this one and I have to say it's very close indeed. Needs another week or two just to smooth it very slightly, but the flavour is very good - lovely and bitter. Definitely a success this one.

Brewed this a few weeks ago and its a nice one.

Changed the recipe a bit but turned out well.
