Day started a little later than planned 09:00 rather than 08:00 but its going well so far. Their wont be many pics as its my first brew i am managing to take some will bung them up later after the day is finished.
Mash started at 10:00 almost time to start the sparge.
Sparge done and onto the boil.
90 min Hops thrown in by SWMBO


15 min hops thrown in waited 5 min then bunged in chiller and some profolac.
Wort chilled to 26 deg and left for 30 min before draining to FV had a nice clear wort.
Pitched yeast after a good 10 min thrashing the wort to get some air into it.
Will update with pics when I get back from visiting the mother in law.

Oh forgot to add I guestemated the sparge worked on a 3 litre water to 1 kg of grain for the mash then sparged until I hit 1008 during the sparge. This is something im definatley going to have to work out properly as I ended up having to top up with water and then I only came out with 20 litres for the brew.
