HOME BREWING ON TV

Post by brupaks » Mon Oct 13, 2008 7:03 pm

I have been contacted by ITV regarding an forthcoming edition of "Tonight with Trevor Macdonald" entitled "Winners in the Credit Crunch" As homebrewing is on the up, they want to feature it as a "winner". I am looking for a volunteer from the London area who uses Brupaks products to be interviewed for the programme, provide some beer for tasting, plus some extra beer to be tasted at a special celebrity dinner hosted by ex Dragons Den man Richard Farleigh. This is a great chance to show our hobby in a positive light. If you are interested please contact me on clive@brupaks.com. Please hurry as they want to film it next week.

Nice one!

BTW I removed copies of this post from other locations in the forum, just having one thread is the way to go.

1, I dont live in London
2, My filmstar good looks are long gone.
3, My beer would not show our hobby in its best light. ( I drink it but I am still learning )

Maybe it could be made into a new regular series ?

The "Four X factor" or "Last pint standing"... :D

I'd give it a go......I live outside London though...about 20 miles south. I also don't use many BruPaks products - although I do have Brupaks Iodophor, and a few other bits and pieces!

If they're filming next week the person chosen would have to have some already made, no?

Hi

I live in London (0208/greater London - Loughton) and would be willing. Bad points - I finished my last pint of brewers choice IPA last week (best kit I have done by miles), I work in banking (not exactly on a winning streak).

Anyway If you think I might suit just PM me....

Get Home brewing in the public eye? could be a bad idea, as it stands now with taxation it's left alone, get it very popular and before you know it they'll be a new type of @@@
