first ag brew solo

Having helped jubby do a couple of brews I plucked up the coarage to get the gear and have a go with alot of help from jubby .
adnams best was the beer .this is the mash water boiling up and because I live in a very hard water area used 1.5ml per litre of crs in the water.Image

I didn't realise that two of the pics would be side ways until I had posted it . Used nottingham yeast that was really quick compared to using liquid yeast that we used when helping jubby . The trouble is I want to try it now but will have to wait a few more weeks .Iam like a kid on xmas eve every time I come home from work I go into the shed just to make sure the barrels are still there .Image thanks for the positive comments

Lovely! I know the feeling. I like the fermenting part best 'cos I keep the FVs next to me desk for that comforting airlock bubbling.
