Can't believe
I'm actually about to say this but .....
As ye specified ye not a Stout drinker (and nor am I a Lager man) I have to, hand on heart, admit that the dreaded Muntons,
IF they really and truly
Have sorted their shit to a blanket kits ....?
Wherry Is an absolute belter. It's a brew I'd hand to anyone, without even asking what they favour, and would expect a favourable verdict.
On 'Taste' that is. The brew I did was yummy. It just lacked Everything in the poke department, having stuck fast.
Also, I tried their " London Dockland Porter ", which they describe as 'A Real Thirst Quencher'. Absolutely spot on! It too stuck like a limpet. But, regardless, I'd consider that a brew of which a hard worked and knackered man Could sink a few pints, without then feeling inspired to beat the wife!
It's got the most appealing, reddish tone to it. And it really does slip down like some rather moreish new soft drink. Which is funny because, to me, 'Porter' has always spelled a winter drink, the blacker side of red.
Assured of some 'benefit' of drinking them, I'd be willing to try them both again.
