Actually this is probably better than your average pub pint!

Actually bit of advice, how do you pour these things? The quick serve lever tap on the keg doesn't reach to the bottom of the glass which means quite a bit of foam is produced.

Hold the glass at an angle so that the tap is touching the inside of the glass. Let the beer trickle down the side, and gradually turn the glass into the upright position as it fills.

How far should the tap be opened?

It depends on the pressure in the barrel - the greater the pressure the less you can open the tap without it foaming a lot. Just let it trickle out for best results.

Great that your beer turned out o.k.

Would suggest next time, to show your beer off to its best
show it in a clean glass ie.
no bubbles sticking to the sides.

keep up the good work.

That looks good. Still waiting to sample mine. I'm going away to work for a month tomorrow so it should be ready to sample when I get back. Watch this space :D
