Hi All,
I have about 2 litres of wort left over from my last boil (currently in a water bottle allowing the break material to settle out, it was at the bottom of the vessel so lots of break material). Was wondering if I could use the clearer wort as a starter wort for my next brew (its OG is 1040) rather than chucking it. If so, how long will it last - should I put it in the fridge or freeze it?
Thanks, Gaz.

Great - I'm glad I kept some aside. Thanks.

A agree with Chris, and I do this myself, freezing the wort in plastic bottles. Means I can microwave them when needed to thaw them out, then boil 20 mins.
I've also mashed especially to produce starter wort, and frozen this as well. But once you get a supply of wort in the freezer, you don't need to do a special mash again and its sufficient to just dough in extra grains and use the excess wort.
