1 can i give it a blast of co2 now or do i wait till im about to use it ie force carbonation
i dont intend using till hogmanay 31st dec and once blasted can i remove the lines from the cornies and leave out in the garage till required again

It depends how fizzy you want it to be. CO2 will dissolve into the beer. The higher the pressure, the longer the time you leave it, and the colder the temperature will all increase the amount of CO2 that will dissolve. If you do not want it particularly fizzy then you could inject at a low pressure, say 5-6 PSI. Do this when the kegs are upright, wait a few mins then lift the safety valve to purge any oxygen. Then top up to your required pressure.
