Not a gibson unfortunately, one of the better Epiphone copies.
Do you play?
The first photo of the guitar I thought it was a Gibson SG, but in the second photo you can see its not. The Epiphones are made by Gibson. Yes I do play, not very well.
The first piture is the Epiphone, Epiphone is basically a brand of Gibson now, Its essentially used for Asian versions of Gibson guitars and the quality varies quite a bit. I wouldnt buy a current Epiphone SG, mines from the early 90's and is much better, gued in neck etc.
The second picture is my acoustic, Its an Ashbury Rathlin, they're not too common.

Agreed, the earlier Epiphones are better IMO. I've got a year 2000 (might be 2001, I forget) Epi Les Paul and it plays, feels and looks better than the current crop of Gibsons that I've played recently in shops, at shows etc. By contrast the new Epi versions I tried were not so good. :(

Looks like your AG brewday is a lot tidier than mine! The kitchen tends to look like a bomb has gone off in it when I brew, even when I try to keep things tidy! It's all ok during the mash etc., it's when the boil gets going and I'm running about with hops, yeast, siphon tubing, wort chillers, spent grain etc.

Congrats though! You'll be amazed when you try this, even the hydrometer beer when you check your gravity in a week will taste fantastic - I know I was blown away and that was coming from doing extract beers with hops etc (which didn't have the "homebrew" taste unlike kits), you going from a kit beer to an all grain, it'll be fantastic! :D

POTTER BREWERY (mothballed 2020)

Fermenting: nowt (sadly). Drinking: still a few bottles of my imperial stout knocking about . . . it's rather good now

I've just realised I spelt Saturday wrong on the subject, how embarrassing. It must have been the Fatigue!

I drained a bit off this morning to take an SG reading:
80 hours fermenting: 1.012 this has already gone below the target FG of 1.015.
The starting gravity was 1.054 (adjusted), so by my calculations the ABV is already 5.5% which is about as far as I'd like it to go. will it level off a bit now? or am I going to end up with Duval?

It looks quit cloudy and dosent taste as hoppy as I'd expected! but it's not vinegar and that's the main thing for #1

Nice job, nicely done. I thought at first the guitar was a SG. I also play badly, Current guitars Gibson Studio, Fender Tex Mex, and my newest guitar to the flock, a lovely 80,s Takamine

That's quite a stable! I was going to Takamine when I bought my new acoustic but I heard they've gone a bit down hill since he 90's so I went with the Ashbury instead, t's taken some playing-in though; I can see the benefits of an acoustic thats already done 25 years of work!
