As this will be my first AG brew im not going to check PH or add anything else to the water other than my usual 1/2 a camden tablet but im unsure if i add it to the mash water or the sparge water. Will it still be effective if its boiled? If it isnt do i add it to the post boil wort?

I try to add mine fairly evenly distributed across all the water that ends up in the boiler. So I usually dissolve 1/2 tablet in about a pint of hot water in a jug, then add half to the mash water and the rest to the sparge water. Dunno if this is the correct practice but I get good beer!
