2.5kg wheat malt
(90 min infusion mash at 67c)
30g new zealand hallertauer hops (a.a. 8.0%) at start of boil
10g new zealand hallertauer hops for last 15min
and one whirlfloc tab for last 15min
O.G. came in at 1054
Bitterness should be around 20 EBU
pitched with danster munich (german wheat beer ) yeast
i boiled indoors for the first time, using a fan by the door. was bloody freezing. i'm really looking forward to this one, it will be getting bottled so will be a while before i get to drink it. i'm sure they will be calling my name come christmas though... now i just have to come up with a name for my beers and make some labels...
