With Winter here it certainly makes brewing out on the deck a challenge.

Freezing hoses, slippery footing etc, etc, etc.
I can deal with all that but clean-up is a #-o

Had to lug the keggle to the bathroom to wash it out after brewing a 10 gallon batch of dry stouts (split batch, one with Nottingham and the other with Irish ale yeast, that ones getting some sour beer added back in)

Needed a shower anyway so I hopped in there bollickey bare-assed and washed the keggle, then me!

Hence no piceys for this brew-day :D

I did have one of those "E-Bay teapot" moments though.

When I built my keggle I shined up the outside at work so its damned near like a mirror

So, let me get this straight....

you are trying to blame the weather for your shiny naked photo fetishism?

I look at this thread having just come in from outside where the thermometer is reading -7C.... not looking forward to waiting for the bus at 7am tomorrow!!! Brr!

(And my hoses were frozen on Sunday when I brewed too :P )

It's minus something here as well. I want to brew tomorrow but the water supply (hose) to my garage is frozen solid.

Hopefully it will thaw in the sun tomorrow.

i have found that the bottom of a H&G 60 litre fermenter just fits in a wheelbarrow. I normally have do shed -> house with wort but i'm sure it'll work the other way round and water is probably lighter :?
