Conditioning time; common thought seems to suggest a week for every 10 original gravity points, i.e., your 1045 beer should be left for 4.5 weeks to mature before drinking. In reality, if you manage that you've got a lot more discipline than myself!

I think it should be tasting very nice in two weeks time and I personally would be dipping into them by then. S04 is a pretty quick clearer so they should be virtually crystal clear by then if your boil etc. was good.

Fermenting: nowt (sadly). Drinking: still a few bottles of my imperial stout knocking about . . . it's rather good now

Good effort - my conditioning time goes something like: wait as long as possible, try some - if it's good, start drinking - if not wait a week and repeat! On the fermentation temperature, 24C is a little high, but S04 is fairly tolerant - I've fermented at 23C with no issues - and a local brewery ferments at 25C with S04 and they make good beer
