beer not cleared

Post by shaunyboy » Sun Jan 11, 2009 7:03 pm

I have in the pressure barrell, beer which has been sitting for 14 days. It still isnt clear although it does seem to be getting clearer as I test it each day. The instructions on the kit said up to 14 days, should I bide my time and wait longer, or have I done something along the way?
Thanks in adavnce for your replies, happy brewing!

Welcome Shauny.

Give it another week or two. It will likely clear and the taste will also improve/develop.
If you can find somewhere a little bit cooler (10 to 15 degrees) it may also help.

The only way I ever manage to wait long enough before drinking a batch is to make sure I have other beer to drink....
