Hello Brewers,
Does anyone has a good recipe for porter using london (UK) tap water? How much difference does tap water make?

I brewed the Fullers London Porter clone found here about 6 months ago and it was great. I use good old Dallas Texas water (filtered to get rid of the clorine of course) which is medium hard with both temporarary and permanent hardness. That was my first shot at making a "brown porter" and not only did I like it but it got me a metal in a medium sized competition, it just doesn't get any better than that.
Drinking:Saison (in bottles), Belgian Dubbel (in bottles), Oud Bruin (in bottles), Olde Ale (in bottles),
Abbey Triple (in bottles), Munich Helles, Best Bitter (TT Landlord clone), English IPA
Conditioning: Traditional bock bier, CAP
Fermenting: Munich Dunkel
Next up: Bitter (London Pride like), ESB
So many beers to make, so little time (and cold storage space)
