hi, me being silly, i have just got straight on with my fermenting, and basicly i didnt have a tap to put on the fermenting bin, so which is the best ways to take a hydro reading, i have a trail jar and a hydro thing, another question is, whats the best way to go after fermenting put my brew into a keg and condition in a cold place ?, many thanks damian

steralise your hydrometer and just drop it in the fv and leave it in there so you dont have to keep cleaning it every time you want to check the SG

After filling the keg, put it in a warm place for a week or 2 then move to a cool place
