Brewed this with my brother and kegged it about two weeks into December. It was excellent three weeks ago and I just happened to drop in on him... ahem...for no reason other than to wish him hello yesterday and had about four glasses whilst I was there. It's getting better all the time and a great advert for a seemingly honest and trustworthy brewery that produces good content without cutting corners (Safale yeast as standard for example).

Previously to Coopers my opinions about Australians and their beer was somewhat tainted by Fosters, XXXX and all that other trash. It's always nice and refreshing when your expectations are changed by an experience. Especially if it's as pleasant as to involve Beer.

The Aussies have a thing for mixing 2 cans together and altering the addditions and brew lengths to suit. The favourite 2 can ( or toucan as they call it ) by far is this one mixed with the stout. I`ll try and add the link if I can find it.
Best of both worlds then ?

Started up my Dark Ale two weeks ago, kegged it last Tuesday and in the process of moving it to the garage accidently poured half a glass, so I had to drink it. Even though only been in keg for a week its clear already and tastes rather good, rather pleased with it. Was hoping on saving this to drink throughout the six nations, but I'm not sure it will even last until the first weekend. Must say I'm very impressed with the Coopers kits, hopefully my IPA, and basic bitter kit will be as good.

The result was I was a bit late for work this morning

Very good actually. I checked by brew book and it was started on 25th September and bottled on 3rd October so its had a good three months to mature and it tastes excellent. I now only have one bottle left of it though
