I had a beer that had been in the FV for just over 2 weeks so i decided to transfer to my glass carboy for a week or so to clear a little more.

I then made up the kit and then pitched onto the yeast cake that was left behind(Danstar Nottingham which seems to settle a bit more compact than the safale-04)

Took a hydro reading as i transfered the wort which was 1.046

Following advice from i think DaaB i decided to aerate the wort with my my spoon attatched to my drill...pure genius

It has started bubbling already(2 hours)so i must say thanks to my assistant brewer....Cameron

As you can probably tell i have just discovered how to put pictures in my posts
